These are super yummy...not real great for you though! But it's okay to splurge every now and then...isn't it? We have another birthday party tomorrow and I made these as an extra dessert in case the big M&M cookie I made isn't enough for everyone.
Cheesecake Brownies
1 brownie mix for 9x13 pan (with ingredients listed on package)
1 8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/2-1 t. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
Prepare brownie mix according to the package directions. Spread into sprayed 9x13 baking dish/pan. In small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla. Dollop on top of brownies. Take knife and swirl the cream cheese mixture to give it a marble looking effect. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes. ENJOY! :)
*To make these a bit healthier...you could use applesauce in place of the oil in the brownie batter. You could also use an egg substitute in place of eggs, Splenda in place of sugar (or use less sugar if you want) and fat free cream cheese or neufchatel.
