Mmmm-mmm Good!

I found this new recipe online the other day and it sounded interesting and included ingredients that I usually keep on hand, so I thought I'd give them a try. Zak is begging me to make them again sometime very soon.

Marshmallow Brownie Krispie Bars

1 fudge brownie mix for 9x13 pan plus ingredients listed on box
10 1/2 oz. pkg. mini marshmallows
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 T. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and bake. Remove from oven, sprinkle marshmallows over top while hot and return to oven for 3 more minutes.

In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter and cook over low heat; stirring constantly until chips are melted. Add in cereal and mix well. Spread over marshmallow layer. Refrigerate till chilled; then cut into bars.

*I wasn't sure if I was supposed to let the brownies cool before spreading the chocolate mixture over top. I didn't let it cool so the chocolate mixture didn't really spread...it just kind of plopped & melted into the marshmallows...so to make it look somewhat better, I just took my knife and made swirl patterns with the melted marshmallows and chocolate mixture. They may not have looked the prettiest but they must have tasted okay!? :)
