Today's Deals...and maybe the longest post ever!

UPDATE: For the Kroger trip, I added an e-coupon to the Pillsbury refrigerated items and also changed a few of the totals because I realized I made a few mistakes. Sorry about that...I was in a hurry late last night to get it done. I also put links for the e-coupons at the end.

First stop: Kmart


This week is a double coupon week at Kmart. They will double coupons up to $2.00. I spent $19.50 for everything in the picture AND two 18 pound bags of charcoal (didn't want to drag them in the house for a pic). When the cashier gave me my receipt, I also got a Kmart Savings Coupon for $3.00 off my next edibles or consumables purchase of $20, a coupon for a FREE package of Milk-Bone dog snacks and a coupon to receive a $10 gift card with a new or transferred prescription.

Meijer:

I made two trips to Meijer today because the Meijer near my house did not have what I wanted...Lysol wipes. I had to stock up on these! I use them at home and my kids needed them for school. I had waited and waited for them to go on sale knowing that I'd also be able to get some good coupons on Meijer Mealbox and the Lysol website. ...And they finally went on sale...this week! I was able to get the Lysol wipes for $.50 a container by using coupons found here and here. You can use the Meijer coupons with a manufacturer's coupon to get an awesome deal! I also bought 2 Family Size bags of tortilla chips...and paid more for 2 bags of chips than 8 containers of Lysol wipes. Crazy! Spent $9.96 for the stuff in this picture.

I got a lot of the deals mentioned in this post at Meijer on my first trip today. One deal that I got today that wasn't mentioned in the post was for Easy Mac Cups. I had a BOGO coupon and there is also a $1.00/1 Meijer Mealbox coupon...I got 2 of these handy mac & cheese cups for FREE!


Kroger:

Everything in this picture cost me $7.71 PLUS four 12 packs of pop at $9 for a total of $16.71 at Kroger today! Between the Mega Event, e-coupons and paper coupons I really made out!

*Most of the items were part of the Mega Event (all except for taco seasoning, pop and pasta). A lot of the items were not listed in their ad but I found while I was there. The prices above reflect the $.50 off if you buy 10 participating items and doubling of coupons up to $1.00. If you use the e-coupons, make sure that you load them about 24 hours before your shopping trip so that they are on your card. I loaded some last night and I know that I missed out on about 3 more...oh well. The e-coupons do NOT double!
