The Day Has COME!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you probably know that I have been working on making a stockpile. I have been working diligently at this since April and have gotten A LOT for a little bit of nothing, when you consider the cost of groceries these days!

This is what it started out as. Nothing major.

Then I had to clear out two shelves of books to start making more room.

Then it started overtaking both bookshelves. This picture was actually taken a couple of months ago; so just imagine stuff on every bookshelf and being unable to get a book out when necessary!

And then it started getting put in bags on the floor in a few different places...and anxiety started setting in.


I had talked to my dad back in June to see if he'd be interested in building us a pantry type of cabinet to fit into the corner of our dining room. He agreed and tried to match it as closely to our kitchen cabinets as possible.

This is what the cabinet looked like when he delivered it at the end of July.


And this is the finished product!!!!!!!

And here it is FULL!!! The kids & I made lots of trips up & down the steps to bring all of the stuff up and place it in the cabinet. They had a lot of fun sorting it and checking everything out. They got a little hungry while handling it all! ;)





I want to organize things a little better but for now everything has a place and my anxiety has subsided. :)
