Homemade Foaming Soap
Quite a while ago I read a blog post about making homemade foaming soap and that it saved a lot of money. I put this in the back of my mind to try because with a family of 5, we go through a lot of hand soap. It said that the Bath & Body Works bottles are the only brand that will work for this. I have also heard, and read, from other sources, that other brands get clogged up. About a month or so ago I got a mailing from Bath & Body Works saying their liquid hand soaps were on sale. It was more than I normally pay for liquid soap...but I really wanted the bottle so that I could save money in the end. (And BTW, the B&B foaming soap lasts WAY longer than normal liquid soap...I was quite impressed! I still don't think it was worth the $2.85 I paid for it but one bottle lasted over one month in our bathroom...we normally refill every 1 1/2 - 2 weeks, at least, with normal liquid soap!)
I made it today for the first time and so far it seems to work well! Go here to see how you can make it too!

Hey, this is really cool never thought about it before but will try it now! Except I threw away my last empty B&BW foaming soap container about a month ago! I guess I will have to buy some more when they go on sale. Thanks for the tip!
