Pizza Casserole

This week has been very busy for me and today I totally forgot to pull something out of the freezer this morning for our dinner tonight. So at about 4:30 I decided to start looking through my cupboards & fridge for something quick & easy to make...wasn't real sure what that was going to be. I soon remembered something that I used to make a lot and, for whatever reason, stopped making. My kids love this pizza casserole recipe, one of many that are out there, I'm sure. It is SO easy, everyone really likes it...and it's frugal!

You will need:
1 jar of spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage
1 bag of shredded Italian blend cheese
1 tube (8 count) of Grands! flaky layered biscuits

Pour the whole jar of spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Spread it out evenly (I usually kind of shift the dish back & forth to get it more even...no need to dirty anything!). Sprinkle cheese over top. Then separate biscuits into two halves and layer over the top. I had some leftover pieces so I just tore those into smaller pieces and filled in the holes. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. It's that easy!!! :) ENJOY!!

With getting sales & using coupons on these items this dish cost me about $2.00 to make!!!

*I used to use the tiny little biscuits rather than the Grands!. If you chose to use the smaller biscuits you would need to get two tubes of them...and no need to separate into halves.
