This is the last week of the Eat from the Pantry Challenge. I wasn't going to go shopping till the end of the week BUT I am so glad I did being I later found out that this is the last week that Kroger will be doubling $1.00 coupons. I knew that I would be able to get a lot of good deals and decided to break my trip into two trips. I plan to go again on Friday. I also wanted to check out some prices on stuff and find out what else was included in the Mega Event because they do not list everything in the ad.
Unfortunately I was very unorganized when I went today because I had not had time to sort all of my coupons out, nor did I make a list (I do not recommend this!). Despite my lack of organization, I was able to get all of this...$144.43 in groceries...
FOR $27.77!!! 80% savings!!!
I was able to get:
2 boxes of Cheez-it Crackers, 2 packages of Toll House cookie dough, 2 boxes of Trix cereal, 1 box of Wheat Thins, 1 package of Velveeta cheese, 3 bags of Stacy's Pita Chips, 2 pkgs. Hormel pepperoni, 3 pkgs. Old El Paso Heat & Serve Rice, 2 pkgs. Oscar Mayer lunchmeat, 2 boxes of Pillsbury Toaster Strudels, 6 bags of Kraft shredded cheese, 3 bags of Nature Valley Nut Clusters, 4 pouches of Hungry Jack pancake mix, 2 pkgs. I Can't Believe sticks, 1 jar Claussen pickles, 3 cans Hunts tomatoes, 3 cans Rotel, 2 jars ChiChis salsa, 3 boxes Quaker granola bars, 4 boxes CapriSun Roarin' Waters, 5 2-liters...and 1 Bubble Tape Gum for Joel! ;)
I also got a $1.00 coupon for my next shopping trip because I bought 3 participating Old El Paso products.
If anyone has any questions as to what coupons I used, please ask. It is too much to list here.
Ok Shelly, I give.....what coupons did you use!?!?!?!? - Amy

That is fantastic, especially considering you didn't feel organized!
