I read on this blog recently that Kroger is going to be changing how they handle eCoupons. It sounds like the system will no longer be allowing you to use both eCoupons and paper coupons on the same item. I figured this was in the works because there are SO many mixed opinions about eCoupons and how they are used.
I have no idea when all of this will take place but I will definitely be hesitant to load eCoupons to my Kroger card from now on. My advice, if you plan to use paper coupons, would be to load them 24 hours prior to your shopping trip and only load what you don't have a paper coupon for. Paper coupons have a lot more savings than eCoupons in the sense that you can use more than one of the same coupon and paper will double up to $.50 - $.99 (dependent on your Kroger store)...eCoupons can only be used ONE time and do NOT double.
eCoupons have their benefits...especially if you don't have time to clip...you can load these to your card and save some money with little effort.
