I just read this great article over at Money Saving Mom...she has been having some guest posts these last few days and they have been really good reads!
So many times, I think many of us often get caught up in material things--making sure our kids have the right brand name clothes (and lots of them), making sure we drive the right car, having the big house, getting the newest gadget, etc. And I think many get caught up in these things because we care too much about what people think of us or we're afraid we won't fit in. But in the end, do those things really matter? We can't take them with us when we leave this earth. True contentment comes only from Christ...so why do we look for it in stuff?
