My Meijer Trip!

This is an AWESOME week to shop at Meijer!! I got everything in the picture for $29.52. I paid $29.52 in cash out of my pocket BUT the best part is that I got $39.00 back in coupons for my next shopping trip!!! How about that!?!

First off I had a new prescription to fill...I had a coupon to get a $20.00 coupon back for my next shopping trip when I used the Meijer Pharmacy for a new script.

A lot of these are items that I really did not need...and don't even need them to add to my stockpile for later because I have so much already. A lot of it ended up being free or a money maker after the catalina (checkout) coupons. I will be using a lot of these items to donate to different ministries at our church. There are so many needs out there...I would just like to encourage you to think of others when you are able to get good deals like these. Yes...it took time out of an already busy day to grab these things BUT if I can get it for free and help someone else out in the process...why not!? It is also is such a blessing to be able to give...and I'm able to teach valuable lessons to my kids about the importance of giving. They have so much fun helping me put stuff together and knowing that they are able to help someone!

I did all of this in two transactions and was able to get:

1 donut (Joel begged after staring at them while I picked out bread...I gave in)

4 Betty Crocker Cake Mixes
2 Air Wick Air Freshener Kits

Got $2.50 coupon for my next trip
Like FREE...and made $.50!!

5 Betty Crocker Potatoes @ $.60 ea. (did this twice--two transactions)
Paid $3.00
Got $3.00 coupon for my next trip
Like FREE and I didn't even have to use coupons!!!

4 boxes of Kellogg's Cereal @ $2.49 ea.
-used 2- $1.50 from here and here
-received $2.00 instantly for buying 4 boxes
Paid $4.96
Got $3.00 coupon for my next trip
Like paying $1.96 for 4 boxes of cereal...$.49 ea!!

One of the other deals that I found was that Archway cookies were marked down to $.99...I had several $1.00/1 coupons from the inserts so I was able to snag them for FREE!
