Last night we were talking at supper with the kids about this Easter weekend and all of the events and what they mean. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday. We talked about what happened on this day many years ago...and how that could be good when it seems so bad. One of the kid's responses was "it was bad for Him, but good for us".
I don't even have words to describe how I feel about what He did! It just flat out amazes me what Jesus did for us! Putting himself on that cross for me...for my family...for you! The pain he must have went through...and he did it for us! The sacrifice!
He loves us THAT much!
And all we have to do is accept it!
It's FREE!!
The life He gave costs us nothing!
Our debt has been paid...in FULL!!
When we accept Him, we receive eternal life!
He has conquered death! We can live forever with HIM!
What could be better than that!?!
