Fun Ideas for Little Kids

I was checking out a few blogs earlier today and came across this post from Laura at Sharpen Your Scissors. She had a couple of great ideas to do with little kids. Find them here! Joel's preschool teacher had a similar idea as the rice...but instead, she poured sand into one of those under-the-bed containers and mixed in a bunch of sea shells, sand dollars and these little starfish things. I'm not sure where she found those items but it was fun and the kids LOVED it at the picnic.
