Book Review: Out Live Your Life--You Were Made to Make a Differnce by Max Lucado

I was given a copy of the book from Thomas Nelson Publishing titled Out Live Your Life—You Were Made to Make a Difference by Max Lucado to review.

Out Live Your Life is based off of the book of Acts. The book challenges us to be like Christ and reach out to those that we come into contact with. Sometimes we feel inadequate to do what we’ve been called to do and don’t follow through with it, but if we trust Him, then it will all come together.

This book really made me think about what I do…I have one life…what am I going to do with it?? It made me think about what I am doing in my own community to make a difference for Christ; but also about what I am doing to make a difference in the world. Will I have any regrets?? What are my kids learning from me? Am I teaching them how to show compassion and a life of servanthood?

I would definitely recommend this book to others so that they too can be challenged in that God uses common people to reach the hurting and lost. We are to make a difference!

I received this book for free from Thomas Nelson Publishers for review purposes through their Booksneeze program. I was not required to write a positive review. The thoughts above are my own.
