Okay...so I thought I'd try something new in efforts to get people more involved here on my blog. I love getting new recipes and I know many others are always looking too. So I was thinking that I would choose a topic every Tuesday and you can post your favorite recipe(s) in the comment section that falls into that particular category.
So the first pick: APPETIZERS. If you were going to a potluck or party of some sort and were asked to bring an appetizer...what would you mostly likely bring? Do you have a favorite recipe?
Right now my favorite would probably be the mock Chile's Salsa and tortilla chips that I posted here. But since that's already been posted, these would probably be my second choice and something I've made over & over again.
Tortilla Roll-ups
8 oz. cream cheese or neufchatel
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. light sour cream
1/2 t. season salt
2.25 sliced olives, drained
1/2 t. garlic powder
4 oz. chopped green chilies, drained
12 small flour tortillas
Mix together all ingredients (except tortillas). Spread on tortillas and roll up. Refrigerate. Cut in half on diagonal and serve. (I usually serve plain, but they can also be served with salsa.)
