Yesterday I went to Giant Eagle while Joel was at school and found lots of good deals!
I was able to get all of this for $14.54.
2 gallons of milk @ $1.98 ea.
2 boxes of Betty Crocker potatoes @ $.45 ea.
2 boxes of Pillsbury Toaster Strudels @ FREE!!
1 box Honey Nut Cheerios @ $.50
6 packages of Danimals Crush Cups @ FREE!!
2 packages of Dole gel/fruit bowls @ FREE!!
2 bags of Nestle candy @ $.28 ea.
8 cans of Bumblebee tuna @ $.38 ea.
4 cans of Muir Glen tomato paste @ $.11 ea.
2 cans of Muir Glen diced tomatoes @ FREE!!
2 packages of Nestle cookie dough @ $1.00 ea.
2 packages of Old El Paso taco seasoning @ $.15 ea.
2 bottles of Snuggle fabric softener @ $.49 ea
2 plum tomatoes @ $.45
2 packages of Keebler Fudge Shoppe cookies @ FREE!!
1 box of Cheez-its @ FREE!! (These were $2.00 but I bought the 2 pkgs. of Keebler cookies also, which were free with coupons, and got $3.00 off instantly...so in the end I made $1.00!)
2 boxes of Pillsbury Savorings @ $1.00 ea. (I considered not buying these because I didn't know if they were worth the money BUT I asked an employee where they were and he searched HIGH & LOW for them because he didn't know where they were. He had only been working there about 6 weeks and wasn't real familiar with the place. I tried to let him off the hook but he wouldn't give up. He was busy stocking right near where they were so I ended up getting them because I felt bad.)
What deals are you finding this week?
*And if you're thinking that my family will be living on tuna and yogurt this week ...I stockpile so I have plenty of things on hand in my pantry and freezer to eat a well balanced meal. I buy fresh produce and milk as I need them; but with everything else, I buy when it is at a price I am willing to pay.
