More Kroger Deals...

I have done a lot of Krogering this week. I’m not a huge fan of Kroger’s every day prices but I do love it when they have their Mega Event!! :)

I was able to grab quite a bit the other day for less than $30.00. See that post here! Today I went again (no pic...sorry) and did spend more money (around $57)...totaled together, it is more than my weekly budget BUT I know that I won’t really need to do much shopping for the next couple of weeks. I will need milk, fruits and veggies and that should be about it.

So today’s trip was a pretty successful one…$230.89 of groceries for $57.06. I stocked up on a lot of things that I use regularly with the Mega Event. I also bought some items just b/c I knew that I had a coupon that, come Monday, will no longer be able to be doubled. So even though I have plenty of yogurt in my fridge right now, rather than paying $.38 for yogurt cups next week or the week after…today I got 16 of them for $.25 each (or less because of e-coupons) and some of them are good through the beginning of March.

The downside to my Kroger trip today was that I had a cashier who is very nice…but handles coupons like no other. I was in line for about 30 minutes and 25 of that was for MY order! UGH! I felt SO bad for the person behind me. I apologized and thanked her for being patient. She was watching the screen and saw the total before coupons and then watched as the cashier scanned…she was pretty excited for me in the end. I was thankful it was NOT the grumpy man behind me in line a few weeks ago when I only had 16 coupons! Today I used 60.

So in case you are planning to go out this weekend to Kroger, I thought I’d share some of my deals with you being a lot of them are unadvertised.
